This is an amazing book! The story is wonderful and the illustrations are gorgeous- full of living art and beauty. My first
grade class enjoyed hearing it throughout the week. The story is about friendship and never giving up on helping those close
to you no matter how hopeless a situation may look.
Absolutely Beautiful Illustration of one of my favorite books!

This is the loveliest edition of the Snow Queen I have ever seen. The book is one that should be read to every child and can
be interpreted on many level as both a story and a parable. The courage of true love and its conquest of cruelty and indifference
is grippingly told.
Enchanting

I've had my eye on this book for a while - the incredible illustrations called to me for months. The story itself is a retelling
of the original and I feel that it doesn't convey the same mysterious magic that the version I read as a child did. However,
it is a beautiful read. I would reccomend this book for children aged 5 - 12, the younger ones will need you to read it to
them. I was a little dissapointed that the text didn't marry up with the ilustrations perfectly e.g. The princess has blonde
hair in the text and brown hair in the picture. But this is pretty minor stuff. The book is made of quality paper and some
of the pictures are printed in pearly blue ink (stunning). The book concludes with a bio of the illustrator and a little eye
spy game of things to look for in the pictures - this allows the fine detail to be appreciated even more.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2WFE81JUJ9UXT It's
really interesting how this Andersen's The Snow Queen can fit in our modern life. Its massage so universal, so appealing.
Look at these extraordinary illustrations by award winning Ukrainian artist Vladyslav 'This is perhaps the most extraordinary
children's book that I have ever seen.' - Paulo Coelho, Internationally selebrated writer. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil"

Little Bear is a favorite TV show for some of my grandchildren. This CD lets them enjoy the stories when they are in the
car, or just to listen to the CD at bedtime. The reader has a wonderful voice and it is very soothing and relaxing to fall
asleep while listening. I recommend this CD for children from ages 3 to 10.
Great for bed time stories!!

I wanted to love this!
I like the Little Bear books and I like Sigourney Weaver. I don't know that I like them together. She just doesn't convey the sweetness of the characters with her generally flat delivery.
I found the new age-y music distracting, too.
My daughter likes this, but I'd rather not be in the same room again while she listens to it. We've just listened to it twice, so I can't predict how well it will maintain her interest after repeated listenings (the Frances CD by Glynis Johns certainly has!). So, it's ok for Little Bear fans, but who knows how appealing this would be if she didn't already love the stories.

This is an awesome book that talks about Sigourney Weaver's life and career before 1990. It gives background on her family,
her previous love affairs and about her experience in the movies. Definately a best buy for any sigourney weaver fan!

This book is written in spanish, so if you don't read spanish, its not going to help you. The pictures contained in this
book are ones seen commonly on the internet. Nothing new here. It is half the length of the TD Maguffee book and a third
of the Robert Sellers book. Not very informative here, information on sigourney in this book is readily available in online
biographies. It gets three stars just because its about Sigourney. I can't recommend this book.

I just purchased this book and finished it today. It is pretty much a copy of T.D. Maguffee's book with added recent information.
Although I did learn something new, about Aaron Latham, nothing else surprised me or excited me. In some areas of this book
I almost fell asleep, and that saying a lot being a ten year sigourney fan. I would stick to the TD Maguffee book and periodicals
at the library.

However, the text was a surprise... I did not remember such a strong religious context in it. Even though I already purchased the book, I'm hesitant to read it to my daughter, which is why I give the book 4 stars only.
