Meg Ryan Books

I read this book a few years back (bought from the grocery story) and greatly enjoyed it.

If you want to know about actress Meg Ryan, then this book is a must. Great quotes. Great Writing. Great Story. Need I say anything else?

First of all: The book's content is o.K. and provides a lot of information on Meg Ryan's life - private and work. Although some of the details seem to be "borrowed" elsewhere and do not match to other sources the author still tries his best to cover all you can get about actress Meg Ryan.
It is a strange book (see my review title) because it seems to be "handwritten" in layout and style and the pictures are the worst copies I ever saw. The "typewriting" is hard to read because the quality is poor.
Nevertheless: content is what counts - four stars...

When I first decided to buy this book, I really didn't know what to expect. I am a Meg Ryan fan, but I didn't know much about her personal life - until I read this book. First I want to say that this is the best written biography I have ever read on anyone. This book not only talks about her films, but also her career, past loves, troubles, childhood, etc . . . Everything! It is also very interesting and keeps you turning the pages! All in all, it is a masterpiece! Highly recommended!

i have not yet received my book and i purchased it more than a week ago. i need it for a class. its very disappointing

I ordered my book on the 28th of May. It is the 28th of June and I still have not received my book. I have sent the seller numerous emails. They say that they will send it out but they have not done so yet. My class is already half over. I would not recommend buying anyhting from seller "Tagmir".

I appreciated the thought and careful attention to detail that was put in this CD suite. Our students took quite well to the techniques and made progress quickly.

I'm an extremely mad that I have not received my book yet. I ordered
that book on January 8, 2007 and I have almost had to drop my class
because I have not received the book. This is absolutely ridiculous and
I want a some sort of refund. This book has caused many problems and I
payed over $50 to recieve it two weeks ago. I WANT SO DISCOUNT AND I WANT MY BOOK!

Meg chose to violate her mother's privacy, and I give her mother cudo's for speaking out and defending herself. Like Meg, Susan chose to leave an unhappy marriage; Unlike Meg, she was not making millions of dollars, and I am sure had to make some choices based on survival. How many of our mothers had the choices that MEG has now, my mother sure did not. Life is not perfect; nor is anyone. I can only hope Meg can avoid the pain of losing a parent one day without saying goodbye, like I did. I think the other reviews on this page do not show any depth of character- but then again, movie stars are "perfect", right? History indeed does repeat itself; good luck Daisy.

It is a fascinating portrait of a woman who discovered her true self through her life threatening illness and literally willed herself well. The author is a 28 year breast cancer survivor. The book has recently been honored with an Arts and Excellence award from the Heal Breast Cancer Foundation, which is studying it as part of their research programs. The book is in the reading libraries of hospitals and the author has been a spokeswoman for The American Cancer Society and The Susan G. Komen Foundation. The author describes herself as "a classic breast cancer personality who became a classic breast cancer survivor." The book is a deeply personal and inspiring account of one woman's triumph over lessons of her past in order to recover her health and a joyful future. I recommend it highly.

I also bought the cd-rom's thinking that the paperback textbook is included. I should have read the customer reviews first before buying it. I hope amazon would do something about the misleading advertisement.

I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEW TOO BUT IM TO AMAZON AND I NEEDED MY BOOK. CAN ANYONE WHO'S PURCHASED THIS BOOK TELL ME IF THE CD ROM IS RETURNABLE I NEED MY MONEY BACK.

Ya same problem here I THOUGHT I was ordering the book but turns out its some stupid guidebook and some CD's! I believe it is only fair that the seller gives a full refund!! I need the book for class on TUESDAY AGH!!!!!

I was also misled, the picture they used is the book that i needed, however, it is not the book i received. I wasted my money on a cd-rom guide book that i dont need or want

same problem! it gives the picture of the textbook we all need, but we get the 2 Cd's that i couldnt care for!!! is that called misleading advertising?
