I'm wish I could create a new adjective to help describe the incredibly stunning poems in this collection ... I found I was holding my breath as I read ... Pam Bernard will blow you away.

I've read a lot of poetry and this book cuts right through the usual curtain of language that poets sometimes pull around themselves in the name of art. Brava, Pam Bernard!

This is an astounding book really outlining Fabian Socialiam as seen in the plays of Henrik Ibsen. It has profound implications even today. It is a very interesting, enlightening, and literate book. One of Shaw's best works.

This was the first book I read for my Communication Engineering course and this subject became one of my strengths after I read it. The style of writing is conversational and not overly technical.The arrangement of the topics is again just like a beginner needs for it to be.The language is lucid .The matter covers not only the technical details but also the practical difficulties.The author has taken pains to make things simple except in places like receivers where its impossible. In my opinion it is the best place you can learn your basic radio and modulation thoery and also stuff about receivers and radio wave propagation from.Be sure to read about tuned amplifiers,oscillators and push-pull amplifiers...you wouldnt understand most of the book if you dont know these elementary concepts.

There were very few things that I didnt find in this book...one was the procedure for determination of AM modulation index by the use of a Oscilloscope,but i dont think i can recall anything else which was missing.

This is an exquisitely beautiful book. It is a very well written and fascinating view into the histories of India, China, and Japan through the lens of people's love of colors, fabrics, and beautiful clothing. It will be a treasure for museums, curious minds, and coffee tables alike.

An excellent book on the history of Daly City, part of the exciting San Francisico Bay Area. It was a great help to me when I was writing my biography of Harold Lang, the ballet and Broadway star who was born in Daly City in 1920. Wonderful photos and accurate descriptions. Any history buff would enjoy it.

One of the most amazing books i have ever read. This book explores the evolution of human spirituality. For any reader looking for a view of religion, and in particualar Christianity, outside of western religious dogma, this is the book. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in esoteric christianity.

I have read this textbook many times over the years, by that I mean various editions. I always come back to it when I want to refresh my memory on electronic fundamentals. It was the first electronic text I was introduced to in 1965 at a technical institute in Indiana and it is used for a fundamentals course in an engineering school I am enrolled in now, what does that tell you about Grobs work. I recommend it highly.
