A really good book. It goes through all of Josh's movies - so I've now seen all the films I didn't know about. The pictures are really great. A great addition to any Josh collection.
Has it all.

it was a great book, but i thought it was sacry the the author (Lorelei Lanum) had to put the fact in that he doesn't wear underware. kinda scary too put into a book if you ask me, but ohter wise great! It was packed w/ info and very hot pictures of him, but still the underware thing i really didn't need to know. it kinda scares me now. i mean you read that and it says remember that the next time you look at him..........
like i said, i didn't need that information.

Ok, I am a huge Josh Hartnett fan, so why wouldn't I like to read a whole book about him? But it was very interesting and informative. And not to mention the many pictures! I got it a few months ago, but I still go back to my bookcase and reread parts of it. I'm just hoping that all the information is true!

I loved this movie. It is far from the best Blu-ray conversion however as it is barely better than regular DVD. To be expected I supposed as it was one of the earlier titles.

Black Hawk Down is indeed a story of modern warfare. Even though it occurred 15 years ago, there is really no other comparable, true-life story of the modern U.S. military in action against an enemy that is well-matched, with sheer numbers facing technological superiority. It is for this reason that I bought the 3-disc edition, to get the extra documentaries and commentaries. The former I've watched, with the History channel's 2-hour documentary, with Mark Bowden's comments more interesting than the 1-hour Frontline piece. I look forward to watching the movie again and again with the various commentaries. After watching this movie, with it's often painful realism, other military movies seem almost unwatchable they are so cliched and Hollywood. This is a fascinating collection of discs to watch.

Had this already in DVD, I think it is a much better film in 1080P. Good story, great director and cast. Buy it.

Black Hawk Down is easily one of the best wat movies ever made. The war seqeunces are intense and hard to watch at times. But Ridley Scott has made a brilliant film with amazing cinematography and a fast paced film. Josh Hartnett really made his name in film in the lead role and I'm surpised he didn't get more action roles in the later years of his carrer.

A real warts-and-all diary and look inside the film industry. Beresford doesn't hold anything back here. The tortuous path to getting a film made is recounted many times as various projects are on, off, then on again over the course of a few years. It offers a fascinating insight into the film industry as a whole and the Australian film industry in particular. And backs up the saying that you've only accomplished something in the film industry when you can speak about it in the past tense.
Aside from Harnett, there are plenty of other big names who come in for a mention. Some come out of it well, others not so well. I knocked this over in a day and was left wishing it went on further.
And for the record, I'm no latte-sipping leftie. Nor do you have to be to enjoy this book. After all, along with Driving Miss Daisy and Tender Mercies, this is the bloke who directed the Barry McKenzie movies, The Club and Double Jeopardy. He's hardly all highbrow and mighty.
