I bought this journal for my mom, and now I wish that I had gotten one for myself, as well. There are guided questions and lists on one side. Then, you can flip it over and use it as a regular journal. The pictures and quotes are neat and make you smile.

When I saw this journal I couldn't resist it. Even it's cover (the frown-y frog) makes me smile! It's a great journal with re-affirming quotes and funny animal pictures on every page. It encourages me to write out my feelings when I'm sad, mad...even glad! I love it so much that I can't even reserve it for blue days-it has become an everyday journal for me.
The directory in the back allows you to make lists of your favorite things, activities, places, foods, etc. so when you're feeling crummy you know how to pamper yourself. Just filling out the directory has made me think about what I really enjoy and consider adding more of these favorites to my every day life.

I didnt grow up in this era , however I have friends of family that did and when I actually did read this book; its example of that time period simply moved me. This definetly touched me and allowed me to see this era through the authors eyes. What a great piece of history.

ALTHOUGH I AM PARTIAL TO THIS BOOK BECAUSE I SHARE THE DEDICATION, IT CONTAINS SOME WONDERFUL RECIPES. MY PERSONAL FAVORITE IS FRESH PEACH SOUP, WHICH IS A WONDERFUL COLD, SUMMERTIME REFRESHING TREAT. IT HAS A WIDE VARIETY OF BREAKFAST/BRUNCH RECIPES. IT MAKES A WONDERFUL HOSTESS GIFT.

I helped build the community college system in Nevada from 1970-1975. This paperback was published in 1973. Employees from the house came to our college to take course in psychology and business. Sitting along madams in airplanes was a common event. The book serves as a piece of local history.

I borrowed this book from the Library and after reading it, just had to have it. It has so much information contained in it, that I want to spend more time delving into all that it has.
So many wonderful listings of websites pertaining to everything you could possibly think of in regards to camping, Rving, and all that pertains to that.
YOU WILL LIKE THIS BOOK AND THINK IT INDESPENSIBLE AFTER YOU READ IT. I highly suggest getting this for what seems to be almost all the information you would every need for camping and all that is related to it.

It is extremely clear, well-organized and a "quick learn" for those who want to try out further exporation of the internet. In its relatively small format it explains everything from types of computers, hardware, software, terminology, to those mysterious "letters" related to computing we wonder about. Camping On the Internet by Eyrich is an absolute must for those who are full-timers in their RVs. Whether you just want to learn from scratch or whether you want to build your own website for pleasure or business, this is THE book. The author, Loren Eyrich, has spent many years traveling in an RV and publishing a small newspaper "on the road", using his computer. This is a user-friendly book. As a fairly competent computer user, I found it wonderfully refreshing and highly useful; it also helped me build my own web site.

This is a really good book for finding flea markets. Each state is covered (a map shows the state at a glance and the key fleamarket towns shown) and for each flea market it says the town, address & directions to get there, dates/times when its open, cost of admission, features such as typical types of items you'll find there, number of booths, rates if you're a dealer and want to sell at the flea market, contact info and web site if they have one.

Really full - it was neat to see Wellfleet covered in here. When I was little my grandparents (who lived on Cape Cod) would take me there to browse through the stalls - I usually had a small allowance of a dollar or two to spend....thank goodness my allowance is bigger now :)

Anyway, great book, seems to be really complete although I've only gone to a few local flea markets that I can get to.

Definitely recommend this as I haven't found anything else that comes close to being as good

Much time and research went into this work. Listing almost everyone associated with the film industry who are interred in Los Angeles' cemeteries was an incredible feat. In addition, how the author got the grave sites of celebrities buried in Forest Lawn (Hollywood) and (Glendale) is beyond me! Workers there won't even give out names of those interred. I highly recommend this book.

Having read most of the books published re: celeb grave hunting, I can easily say this is the very best. Mr. Ellenberger has managed to consolidate all the positives contained in the books that have preceded this one, added additional information and new entries, and has come up with the ultimate grave hunting guide for the Los Angeles area. He has clearly researched and verified his information and relied on additional information supplied by various knowledgeable contributors. Information includes dates and locations of birth and death, grave location (cemetery, section and plot numbers), cause of death, and identifiable screen role(s). The only possible shortcomings are lack of cemetery maps and pictures of the deceased, and these are probably due to the high publishing costs associated with these features. The one thing that I really liked was the addition of many fine actors who never attained star status such as Harry Davenport and Sara Allgood. This is absolutely great for all diehard movie fans out there.

This book has soo many champagne cocktails. Thres champagne for all occasions from tradiotnal drinks, modern drinks, breakfast drinks, and punchs. Interesting read!! i love champagne

Working in residence life, it is an excellent resource for programming, or simply for "random trivia" in newsletters or on bulletin boards. If you have a unique or original holiday, you can also have it included. (For example, 2 years ago, we started "International Residence Hall Student Staff Recognition Day," and it is now included in the annual publication and is being recognized worldwide).

Chase's is a great resource to anyone in sales or marketing. The item arrived quickly and I was able to use the CD-ROM that was included with the book immediately.

Probably not a handy reference for everyone, but it is a standard in newspaper offices. Lists all sorts of events internationally, famous birthdays, anniversaries of the most obscure things. Lots of fun for some of us!
