I love this book! I'm 18 years old, and until today have never replaced anything under the hood of my car. Recently, the alternator in my '89 Cutlass Ciera wore out. I didn't have much money, and the shop estimated the price to be about $250-300. I went up to the library and found this book, and replaced it by myself in a half hour with a new $75 alternator. That chapter alone was worth about $150. It is really easy to follow, has several diagrams, and is an absolute must for anyone with this car that wants to save money.

Julian Payne is a fun and entertaining documentation of the relatively unknown occurrences that shadow the lives of many of today's celebrities. From who got expelled for mooning his teacher, to who's fart was sold on eBay, Celebrity Anecdotes is packed full of random facts sure to make the reader laugh and reflect. Highly recommended to the general reader, bust most especially to connoisseurs of modern entertainment industry and celebrity gossip.

A great comprehensive book with thousands of celebrity birthdays. The best I've found. Cross referenced by date and alphabetically.

This is the best single overview of 20th Century American caricature I have ever seen. The quality of the reproductions is outstanding and a good many of the items herein are not available in other books. The book's cutoff point appears to be the Fifties; it would have been nice to have had some more recent examples by artists such as Edward Sorel, but perhaps the newer people are adequately covered in other books. Anyone interested in caricature cannot do without this book.

This was a very fun book to read. It was very interesting finding out what the celebrities favorite receipes were. Some were quite tasty too!If you like to find out about celebs then this is the book for you. There was quite a unique range of them.The pictures were very nice too. All in all very enjoyable reading!

Celebrity Death Certificates 2 is a FASCINATING read....I couldn't put it down. It's a lengthy collection of celebrity death certificates from the Marx Brothers to Johnny Carson. Nothing is deleted including social security numbers and cause of death information. I felt like I was looking at something I wasn't supposed to see -- what a great feeling! Sorry all these celebrities had to die for me to enjoy this book, but...oh, well!

As an autograph collector since l988 this book has been very helpful. Since I try to get the autographs of the stars of the 30's & 40's this book has it all. So I suggest get out your pen and paper and start writing, you soon will be hooked in obtaining autographs!

This book is all about questions about the stars. If you are a pop music, actor, actress and sports fan. Then this book is a must.
