This game is great! Went to dinner at a friends and they brought out this game, we played it for about four hours straight and everyone was ready to keep playing (until we realized it was 1 am and we all had to work the next day)! The game has simple rules, which can easily be adapted to change up the game. I hope they make a booster pack or name game 2, as we almost went through the whole game in one night!

My friends and I have played this game for years, but we were using scraps of paper and writing the celebrities names down ourselves. This game version is GREAT because there is no chance of repeat names being tossed into the mix, you don't have to wait for the one slow poke friend to cook up 15 celebrity names on his own, and there are THOUSANDS of names in the box so you can play forever without running out of new names. With the celebrity names in this gift version being rated by level of difficulty, you can also play more strategically. I like bringing it as a hostess gift to dinner parties because 1.) I'm a game freak, and 2.) it comes in a compact tin box, which looks cool.

All of the different dishes have some type of unique characteristic, and in the celebrity chef's preparation, the detailed explanation is amazing. This book is not only great for recipes, but an excellent guide to the flavors of asian cuisine. A Must Have!

Just an incredible read. Gertrude Stein's advice to writers is worth the price of the book. You also get Hitler, Stalin, Scott Fitzgerald, Mae West, Arthur Miller -- etc. The interviews are from four to 15 pages long and all written by different people. Some appeared in newspapers first. You can easily pick this book up and read a little, and then pick it up again in a week or two, or keep it as a reference.

This book is a journalistic chocolate box for the general reader. For journalists, it is a landmark study of the evolution of one of the key techniques of the profession. As such, it should have a place on the syllabus of every journalism school.

This book teaches you how you can overcome negative or bad things that happened and that makes you feel down or depressed. It shows that most of the time, when something happens, it can lead to a much better opportunity. So many inspiring examples are given and shows you how uplifting it can be reading about famous people that went through struggles before they became famous. Success-street is not easy-street! It is a highly recommended book, definetly worthwhile reading, especially when things don't look they are going your way.

Having been fired from a job which I loved (an editor) for writing about the TRUTH - I found that this book enabled me to redefine who I was and where I was going. Consequently, I just finished my first novel - a passion that has been a lifelong dream.

This is one of the most thought provoking books that I have read in a long time. I could hardly put it down the first time I read it and I find myself returning to again and again. The material is so rich and layered that each subsequent reading offers fresh and facinating new insights. I definately recommend this book for anyone interested in past lives, karma and higher realities.

This fascinating book answers numerous questions about the higher Self, soul life, and the spiritual path. Because the lives are accessible through biographies, a true understanding is gained of life purpose, choices, fame, power, and genius as the soul progresses through incarnations. The insignts and higher perspective gained can change a life. This book can be the basis for years of study and meditation.

This book can be a real inspiration to an ambitious portrait photographer. What I liked about the book is that it wasn't just beautiful young females. There are portraits of all kinds of people and each one a piece of art.

If you watched the December 17, 2000 CBS News SUNDAY MORNING feature on Lord Snowdon, you would have noted the photographer's humility. He denies photography's place as a fine art and his significance in his work - the subjects are what is important.

No person with an eye trained to fine art could deny the quality of Lord Snowdon's talent. As a fellow professional photographer, I aspire to capture the human condition quite as Lord Snowdon does. The reader will find a variety of work - black & white and color, famous persons and ordinary people, sharp crisp work to grainy impressionist. Don't look for any ordinary pictures - each is dramatic in some varied fashion. Don't look for sensual nudes - a couple of tasteful nudes adorn the book.

The photo selection is an excellent representation of his 50 years as a photographic master. The book's technical presentation is superb, in terms of paper choice and printing techniques. I eagerly await Lord Snowden's exhibit at the Yale Center for the British Art. Thank you for your wonderful contributions, Lord Snowdon, and thank you Harry N. Abrams, Inc., Publishers!

The poetic scripting of these legends is captivating, enlightening, and informative. The research and abridgment of the life of these women truly heighten my knowledge of each of them. Kudos to these authors for motivating me, with your style of writing, to read the entire book in a few hours!

I highly recommend the book to one and all.

I loved this book. It is so inspiring. It would be a great book to present at your book club. This book helps us, if we don't know or don't remember, to understand that many opportunities for all people have been made possible because these women took the time to care. I plan to give a copy of this book to my daughter as a gift during black history month and as a tribute to these legendary strong, gifted and caring women that the book is all about. Thank you!

Marcel Proust is still somewhat of an enigma from the past century. A man whose hefty multi-volume opus 'A la Recherche Du Temps Perdu' continues to delight, puzzle, stimulate all the arts even today, Proust has had many biographies and treatises written but few supply the sheer pleasure of this perfectly designed little volume.

In Proust's time he had two questionnaires, separated by time, but similar in content, questionnaires he responded to allowing the reader to discover his psychological fears and fantasies as well as his favorite poets, writers, painters, composers, fears, embarrassing moments etc. This artfully designed volume presents copies of those questionnaires, both in Proust's handwritten responses in French in type set English form. But the pleasure of this idea doesn't stop there.

After a learned introduction by Henry-Jean Servant as to the manner in which the original questionnaires were used, William C. Carter relates the importance of Proust's influence on the arts that followed his death and the myriad films, books, studies, and conversations that continue. Then the creators of this colorful book placed the questionnaires in the hands of a number of interesting celebrities including Alain du Buton, Brigitte Bardot, Marisa Berenson, Richard Meier and Peter Lindbergh.

THEN the book opens Proust's game to the reader, supplying pages of questionnaires to pass among friends and guests in a party game for the intellect. The book makes a delightful curiosity for dinner parties, but it is the writing of the creators including the responses by Proust himself that make this book one to own. Grady Harp, December 06

Remembering Jackie is one of Jackie Kennedy's best book.
The biography is complete, you never get bored.
There are a lot of pictures too!
I suggest it to all Kennedy 's fans or for people who want to know about Jackie's life.
