Great ideas that have worked very well for me!

This money-saving book is helping me pamper my poodle the way she deserves. When I bring home the discount brands of dog food or doggie treats, her nose turns up before it's even out of the bag. This helps me find ways to afford the quality stuff. Plus it offers a lot of other advice on good buys for your pet.

I got the greatest collie for free and am now using other ideas from the book to get free dog food and toy samples, and cut rate vet visits. I really recommend this book to all animal owners and lovers.

This book is a wonderful source of mutual fund data. I am just a an average joe who needed some help in the investment world. With this book, I was able to avoid those money grubbing brokers and get business handled on my own terms. I have told all my family and friends about this book and they are just as pleased as I am. I suggest that you let Morningstar do the hard research and number crunching for you, too.

Morningstar is the reason that I have been able to retire early. Much earlier than I ever thought possible. I have recommended their various publications to friends of mine, who have all come up to thank me later on. And the folks at Morningstar are just beautiful people.

This is a great reference tool. I was somewhat disappointed that some smaller funds with outstanding track records were excluded; however, with over 9,000 funds available the authors had to draw the line somewhere.

The Gayellow Pages is an indispensable guide for me as a traveller and as a writer. In it I can find connections to gay resources all around the US and Canada. Information lines, accommodations, and other gay businesses are listed in a convenient way and are easy to reach using telephone numbers or Internet addresses. In addition, there are gay-friendly listings which are very useful. I always take the guide with me as I travel for business or pleasure. I have been able to locate any number of useful connections for research purposes in some of the work that I do and that is, in itself, an important reason for me to own this guide. Using the Gayellow pages I have been able to pinpoint reasonable accommodations, find bars that cater to my tastes, and get information on events and other goings on using the various telephone numbers listed for each location. I highly recommend this guide to anyone.

This latest edition is as informative as all the previous editions. I find Gayellow pages to be the easiest guide to use for all gay searches. It is invaluable for travel arrangements and for finding local bars/meeting places/and organizations no matter where I happen to be.

I've always found Gayellow Pages an invaluable guide and source. Whether I'm traveling or home in NY, I find clubs/restaurants/bars and even gay twelve step meetings. Any Gay owned or Gay friendly listing has turned out to be up my alley. Easy to use too. The original is still the most comfortable for me.

Just got the book the other day. It has plenty of information of all the golf courses around the NYC area. I also discovered plenty of courses around my area that I didn't know about before! If your an avid golfer around these neck of the woods, this book is a MUST HAVE.

An excellent reference for the Big Apple golfer. Info on all courses within a 70 mile radius of NYC. Including their Top 30 Public Courses, as well as listings of ranges, golf stores and all things golf...SCHWING Magazine-Summer 1999 issue.

If golf is your game...as their ads correctly say "you gotta have this book"...it has everything you need to know about golfing in the NY Metropolitan Area...invaluable !

The Greater Las Vegas Street Guide & Directory is awesome! The map book is the most accurate one of the Las Vegas area that I have ever found.

I've used maps for other cities and this is the most accurate and easiest to read. I will more map makers would do it like these guys.

This is a great set of maps (Map Book) of Las Vegas and the surrounding areas, its easy to use and very up to date, it has all the new communities and is great for looking for new homes as well as any location.

As an undergraduate preparing to apply for graduate school, I was frustrated with the lack of material about social work programs. This book has so far been my most useful purchase concerning my application to grad school. It contains an informative general section about MSW programs, and then breaks down the admission and application process so that it is clear and understandable. There are also charts in the back to help monitor your application progress. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is buried under MSW paperwork and needs some direction and clarity in applying to schools.

My wife is looking at where she wants to get her MSW, and this book was a tremendous help! It does a great job of explaining the process, as well as providing valuable reference information.

After being out of undergraduate studies a few years, I was anxious about applying to an MSW program without help from professors or adviors that I would have had as help going straight from B.A. to a graduate program. But this book made up for lack of interpesonal connections to guide me through the application process.

The book was a very easy read, but with many great resources and suggestions for figuring out concentration areas, the supplemental statment, and even in reminders on common courtesy one might forget in the midst of anxiety.

This book was a great resource for me. Although you still need to put in all the work, this author gives someone with little other guidance a great outline for the process. I recently was admitted to a top MSW program and my book shows it...dog-eared, bent, highlighted...well worth the money.

This guide is well written. Some of the stories had new items that I hadn't read before in other books. I recommend this book to anyone interested in ghosts. It a great read even if you do plan on traveling to these places.

If you're interested in visiting inns, hotels and B&Bs with a reputation for being haunted, this is the best book to have in your travel bag. All 50 states are represented, and the authors have truly done their homework. 200 lodgings are included, each with the name of the inn, its street address, phone number, website address, room rates, payment types accepted, and a rating of one to five "ghosts" based on the level of ghostly activity. Each entry includes a history of the inn (and, in some cases, a photograph), a description of the accommodations, and reports of haunted activity at the inn, often based on the authors' personal experiences. The book is written to entertain as well as enlighten, and it's an easy and fun read. If you're planning a trip, be sure to check this book before you leave so you won't miss out on any haunted inns that may be at your destination!

I've stayed in some of the Bed & Breakfasts mentioned in this book myself, and enjoyed reading about their past.

I knew I needed a change in life and a new career. But I new it needed to be something that paid decent and would give me job security. So I bought this book, read about the different fields and then handed it over to my teenage daughter to get her thinking about her future....This book guided me in the right direction and now I am in school and will graduate in early 2008.
