Over fifty stickers can be used and reused on glossy scenes of the family kitchen, Arthur's classroom or a local park. Activity pages include coloring, word search, mazes, matching, a crossword, hidden pictures and a lesson in how to draw Arthur. There's also an answer page. Lots here to keep an Arthur or D.W. fan busy for a while, and a nice introduction to various puzzle types.

Stickers depict many characters from Marc Brown's series as well as Easter-themed objects. Very nice.

Finally Oxford has heard our cries and compiled this excellent book for the Lenten and Easter season. Grouped according to the Liturgical progression of the season there are many different pieces covering a vast array of musical styles that can be used all throughout Lent and on Easter. While not created for the small choir of a few paniced singers there are a few pieces that are accessible for the smaller choir. A majority of the anthems and settings are intended for SATB with either organ, or unaccompanied.
This book has been a wonderful find when it seems the only music for Easter being published by the leading publishers has been a little too "commercial." For those who have any part of the Christmas collections from Oxford, this collection will be right at home in your music library next to your other Oxford books.

This book brings to the world audience, all of the facts that are known about the ancient festivals of Demeter and Persephone of Eleusis, Greece. Facts about ancient Greek farming, as well as esoteric and religious information about the yearly festivals are compiled in an easy to understand and scholarly way. This book became one of my primary references for my book "Mysteries of Demeter," in which I flesh out the yearly celebrations of Demeter's Temple for modern practical use. This is the story of the cultural and historical origins of the dragon boat festival celebrated in China and by the Chinese around the world. Dragon boats represent the effort of villagers to protect the spirit of one of the emperor's advisors who drowned himself in the river. Many other legends accompany this festival, including the story of a nightmare from an emperor in the 700's who dreamed of a ghost. This book provides a nice overview of the legends and customs from the past and the celebrations today of this exciting festival time.

The author has taken the words of A Way in a Manger and used them as the text for his work. This illustrations are absolutely wonderful...almost to the point that you would want a print of them to frame. This would be a wonderful christmas gift, one that could be used year round. Recommend this one highly.

Book contains all four verses of Away in the Manger Christmas Carol. I would read the book, then sing the song to my 4 year old as we looked at the pictures. He learned all 4 verses of "Away in the Manger". Illustrations correlate to lines in the song which gave a deeper understanding of the words to not only my son, but to me. The words are the orginal carol. Excellent book! Although listed for babies, this book is an excellent method of teaching the song to a 3-7 year old.

"Baby Strawberry's First Halloween" is another holiday book in the exciting new Baby Strawberry line. This cute book finds Strawberry and all her friends dressed for Halloween. Strawberry is actually dressed as, well, a strawberry! Custard the cat is a witch, with Pupcake a pirate. That's just a couple of the great outfits in this book.

The book comes with a punch out keepsake picture frame. The illustrations are bright, cheerful, and sweet. Another great book for "Strawberry Shortcake" fans.

I love the old classic stories and this Tomie de Paolo was perfect for our grandson's first Christmas last year. Parents brought it out again this year and at 18months it was a perfect bedtime story...short, sweet, cute illustrations. The seller was just as wonderful in sharing this almost new item with a cute personalized note. I assured them that their book was appreciated, cared for, and in very good (tiny) hands. I think that there are too many books with bells and whistles today....the classic, small, hardcovers are still my favorites for reading to little ones.

I myself playing the part of king Hearod in the Pagent Specified here, would like to say it is fun, intertaining, and a down right comedy for the whole family.

This product is great! The finished craft is very useful and there is an extra one to encourage sharing. The book presents the ideas of making for and giving to others very well. The book's pictures are the usual excellent "Barbie" quality. The subject of the book fit my 4 year old daughter's exact interests and capabilities (with adult help, of course). I'm sure the book/craft will also be great for girls a little bit younger and even older that the recommended ages. I had originally bought the book/craft at my daughter's school book sale and then went to Amazon.com to purchase more for gifts. P.S. don't let the "mini" in the title fool you...the finished craft is kid size not Barbie size.
