Certainly the fullest account in print of every aspect of this major festival: its history, theology, philosophy, folklore, rituals, etc. We celebrated the festival this year in a way we had never previously enjoyed - solely as a result of the insights provided by this book. The full and fascinating commentary on the Passover Haggadah made our "Seder" inspirational, and the section for the children was a God-send. It is a must for every Jewish home - and for any gentile interested to understand what Jews are up to at the Passover season, and the background of the Christian festival of Easter.

My 3 year old loved this book since we sang it together. It became a real jewel over Christmas with the whole family singing it.

I have a copy of Emilie's book "The Complete Holiday Organizer" which I have worn out. I can no longer find it. . . . or so I thought! I am delighted to know that the book 15 Minute Family Traditions and Memories contains the valuable ideas of that earlier book but continues much further. This is one of the best books I've ever read. As an amateur actor, filmmaker, and huge fan of Chekhov's short stories, I was blown away. This book is hip, and a real page-turner. I was excited and inspired by it. This is the real deal, it's what creative stuff is all about.

Underhill was one of the 20th century's great spiritual advisors, and this little volume of contemplations on the meaning and use of Advent shows why. A lovely thoughtful book.

This is a wonderful guide to the holidays for a Catholic family with children. Crafts, songs, and recipes are centered around a strong sense of faith. I found the ideas to be simple, but profound. I shared this book with other moms at church and many of them purchased it. There is a companion Lent-Easter volume as well. "The Adventures of Nicholas..." is an action packed adventure story which doubles as a wonderful teaching tool for parents. Mixing history with mythology the author has built the story's foundation on Biblical truths that shine through in every chapter. You'll fall in love with Nicholas and his friends, see Christmas in a whole new light, and understand why he says, "Life is a gift with your name on it." This story is destined to become a classic!

This is a very good book. When Patsy decides to have a suprise party for Albert, she asks all of Albert's friends to help out. The party is planned and everything is turned out great, everyone did what they were supposed to, but wait Patsy forget to give Albert the invitation. When Patsy relizes this they decided to move the party to Albert. When they are on thier way to bring the part to Albert, they relize that he has just left, and is on his way somewhere. They follow him, and everytime they are close Albert seems to have just left. They are so tired that they take a break at the apple orchard, and what happens. I guess you will have to read the book to find out. I would recommend this book for children ages 3-7.

My 5 year old and I had a great time reading this book. He caught on to the mystery "puzzle" clues, and then had fun discovering the hidden pumpkins and notes. A very entertaining book with wonderful illustrations!
