This is a wonderful craft book that helps you make Christmas tree decorations that are really about Christmas: angel, Mary, Joseph, donkey, Bethlehem, baby Jesus in manger, lamb, shepherd, camel, wise men, star, and dove. There are excellent full-color pictures, step-by-step instructions, and patterns for each ornament. There are also hints for working with Sculpey Clay and basic instructions for how to work with the clay, mix colors, form shapes, etc. (I have made these ornaments and everyone loves them. They're easy to make... and they're really very cute.) This great book is out of print, so snap it up!

We have many of Glenda Palmer's highly inspirational books for children. Ms. Palmer has such a way to not, only to teach but to hold the children's interest. My granddaughter loves all of her books and begs to hear them over and over again. That over and over again is a true sign of a wonderful book. I recommend "any" of Mx. Palmer's books they are all delightful! Thank You for writing such wonderful books.

I really love this book! The pictures are so adorable---you want to reach right in and cuddle Teddy and his kitty friend. I also love the fact that each page has two levels of text---one is very simple, for example, just saying Singing Carols, and the other has more detail. Each text page also has a little detail from the facing picture page. Many of the pages have a kitty to find, which engages the very young, and the pictures have sweet details without being overwhelming. I am going to look for more by this author/artist!

Jacqueline McQuade did a superb job with this special book for the holidays. The canvas-like pictures of Teddy Bear caught my children's attention instantly. Each page consists of a beautiful illustration. a large-print description of Teddy Bear's holiday activity, and a few short sentences describing in detail what Teddy Bear is doing. I'm going to order the rest of her books right now.This book was a gift given to us for Christmas 1996, and it has been cherished every year.

Mark James' delightful picturebook Christopher's Little Airplane is the engaging story of a little boy who is given a balsa wood airplane for Christmas. This book is an extensively (one could even say obsessively) researched tool that has chapters on every conceivable topic, from the outdoors to religious organizations to fine cuisine. Volunteer opportunities and other ways to really engage in the community abound. Connect with Kansas City is a truly unique resource that will improve your experience in Kansas City whether you are a first time visitor, an infrequent visitor (like myself) or a lifetime resident. The author's insights about the value of "social capital" were clearly a guiding force in both the conception and the implementation of the book. Worth its weight in gold!

Order this book now! It is full of things to do and ways to engage in our community. Sandy James makes it easy for us to enjoy Kansas City and all our community provides. A must read for anyone new to our city but also for those of us who have been here for awhile and need some fresh ideas.

My daughter loves these books and I love having versions in both Spanish and English. We have about 30 Clifford books and I never tire of reading them over and over.

This book not only teaches to count, but to add as well. I love the Clifford series and my 3-yr old does too. We own these books in Spanish and it's a great series to have.

There we were, all huddled together, out of the pouring rain, in someone's booth, in Virginia at an outdoor show, going through this little blue book, going over the shows we have been in & others we never were in. We now will do those we never heard of before! Only in this little book are some of the best little shows around & and big ones's too. Wow! Love it! We are all going to order it! Outstanding! So helpful! Easy to follow and sort out the shows you want to attend! I couldn't live without it. It really is the best. Not cluttered, just follow the shows in date order and you will love where you end up. I own many of this author's books! I think all of them! Nan.

I remember this book from my childhood. I took it to class in Grade 2 for the teacher to read to the class. Everyone loved it so much that the other Grade 2 teacher asked to borrow it for her class. This is a heartwarming tale that young and old alike adore. I'm so glad I found it again so I can read it to my own son.

I grew up reading this book every Christmas and it holds a very special place in my heart. The recipe for the cookies is amazing as well!

She walks you through everything, Very good book for beginners and intermediate people who plan or want to plan large events.

I purchased this book along with several others along the same vane for my Grand Daughters. age 2 and 4 to eventually enjoy as I know they will. I am their Gran Pa and are really looking forward to reading it to them when they are old enough. Great illustrations which go great with a twist of the tale....

We checked this book out from the library and now own it. My son LOVES it. Aside from loving the poems, it led to his exploration of Greek Mythology and a whole month spent on Greek history and art.

Highly recommended for any child, especially those who are homeschooling.
