Distribution Books

there's not to many books being made anymore in the full 9x12 inch folio format, but here is one made with such quality that many remain in great shape. care was lavished on the many full color full page illustrations, the exceptional binding, and the glossy probably acid free art stock used for the pages. not only is the book beautiful, but it is authoritative, detailed, and fully indexed. the subject matter as fresh in 2003 as it was when published!

When reading this book it is very important to realize that it was written in 1973,(my copy was) and many of the societies detailed in the book have prabably been massively alteared. Also, you probably have a better chance of finding this book at used book stores(where I found my copy) or libraries. It is well worth the effort finding it. With that said, this is a marvelous, thought provoking book and beautifully witen tome. Plentiful throughout the book there are pictures and illustrations that greatly enhance the ejoyment of reading. I was pleased that each chapter was devoted to a differenct society, totaling eleven. The beginning of each chapter usually decribed that societies first contact with the West. Information about the tribed was usefully given in cluster. For each society, their history, social structure, religion, physiology, evironment, and technology was documented. Other unique traits and information were also included. Societies that were detailed in this book included the Australian Aboriginies, south african Bushpeople, Eskimos, the Ainu of Japan, New Guinean natives, the Lapps of Scandinavia, and the Xavante of the Amazon jungle. I you are interested in primitve tribes, and or prehistoric peple, you will find this book totally captivating. In the process of learining about their society, you are probably going to learn about your own society, your place in that society, and about yourself. I cannot say eneough good words about this magical, epic journey into a vanishing way of life.

I bought this cd & am SO pleased with it, coming from possibly the biggest Tony Danza fan, I highly recommend it! Tony has superb singing style not to mention he is a terrific dancer, actor, all around entertainer. If you haven't given this entertainer a LISTEN lately you really should because not only is he a top notch actor in MY opinion he is also tops in singing! Please make more cd's Tony, more movies, etc I can't get enough! My dream? Going to his show one day either tv or nightclub act. Keep up the good work Tony!!!

While some of the information contained in "How to Make Big Profits Publishing City & Regional Books", can be found in other self-publishing type books, this book provided much more. Regional publications are an untapped resource, and this book tells you how to capitalize on that concept. Our book, "101 Things To Do on the Wisconsin Great River Road" is proof.

This is a gem of a book. Short,simple, contains all of the basic essential info you need to use tests for a distribution being normal, exponential, or Weibull. It explains an intuitive level exactly what the test does without getting bogged down in a great deal of theory. It gives the formulas one needs to use for the tests, explains very clearly how to use them, and goes through some examples.

Exceptional book: pick it up for fun as it is an easy read!

For inventors & innovators, this book contains everything needed to answer detailed preliminary questions on the main aspects of human power and its application on land, air and sea. The only drawback was that the section on flying was a little short and the section on cycling a little long, but the cycling stats fed into the flying machines anyway so no real loss. Plenty of charts, stats, references on air and water resistance, human horsepower, peak performance issues, actual test results. Very impressive collection of information, well worth the price.

Our family absolutely loves this tape! This is actually the 2nd I have bought, because we wore the other out! The songs on this tape include old favorites as well as original songs with themes and music styles from around the world. The songs are educational, inspirational, full of imagination and fun for the whole family!
