It is a monumental book (660 pages). With its exhaustive coverage of every aspect of current supply chain management and its probable development, it is indispensable for anyone working in the field, or whose work depends on sound supply chain management by others - which covers most of us. However, its scale makes it rather intimidating for those who simply want to understand the scope of the field without going beyond the main principles. For these readers, the first four or five chapters give a reasonable strategic overview, or they could go to Hugos: Essentials of Supply Chain Management, which is designed to provide an appreciation of key principles rather than depth of detail.

The best easy to follow basics. My favorites from this book are the clam chowder, Baked sweet potato, pineapple dessert,pepper steak, ground beef loaf and many more...a favorite cookbook of mine, my 3 sisters and Mom

First of all, I enjyed this book very much and I would definitely recommend it to anybody who like reading. The story is set in northern england and the opening page tells us about a two-bit crook who has been "stabbed-in-the-back" by his so-called accomplices. he has just been let out of prison. As he makes way to find one of his henchmen, he stumbles accross a scruffy looking figure designing a picture on the pavement. This is Rembrant- so called for his artistic ablities. Now Rembrant is a stocky figure and much bigger than.

GREAT DISHES FROM SPAIN makes the perfect introduction to Spanish cooking, from an easy step-by-step review of how authentic paella should be prepared to making an unusual Farm-Style Fried Bread Crumbs or using blood sausage in a Lentil Pot. Add color photos throughout and you have a Spanish cookbook much more accessible to newcomers than most.

Basic information in a form of a schoolbook. Good reading for anyone prepairing food anywhere for a bigger group of people.

Distributions are objects most physicists will frequently encounter during their career, but, surprinsingly, the subject is not given the place it deserves in the current ordinary science curriculum.
I would particularly recommend this book to physics students willing to learn the foundation of distribution theory and its close ties to Fourier transforms. Distribution theory is, basically speaking, a way of making rigorous the operations physicists find Ok to carry on functions, that otherwise wouldn't rigorously make sense. Distribution theory therefore provides a useful way of checking, in the process of a calculation, if it is allowed (according to the extended rules of distribution theory), or if it is definitely dubious (e.g. current distribution theory doesn't provide a mean of making sense of a product of Dirac delta functions, while such expressions sometimes pop out in the context of quantum field theory ; nevertheless, there exist other formal theories, such as Colombo calculus that aim at justifying this ; yet, for some reason, they seem to bear less power than the original distribution theory).
This work is an easy, gentle, pedagogical piece of mathematical exposition.
The subject is wonderfully motivated.
As such, this book is suited to self-study.
It could also be used as a textbook for an introductory course on the subject, or as an introductory reading to more advanced texts (Aizenman, for instance).
Highly recommended.
